Art, lofts, nightlife
A former garment-district and warehouse area, Wynwood was transformed starting in 2009 when developer Tony Goldman commissioned the Wynwood Walls mural project. It's now Miami's arts and nightlife district, with warehouse conversions, breweries, and a fast-growing wave of new-construction lofts and mixed-use towers.
Very limited single-family inventory — the area is dominated by lofts and new towers.
Median · Loft and condo prices vary widely by building age and finish level.
Prices are approximate, pulled from public market reports as of mid-2026, and change constantly. Always confirm with current MLS comps before making a decision.
NoMad Residences Wynwood (329 condos) is nearing completion, while Twenty Sixth & 2nd Wynwood Residences and the Frida Kahlo Residences — both from PMG and Lndmrk — are under construction, adding hundreds more condo and retail units through 2028.
Wynwood skews young and nightlife-heavy rather than family-oriented — there's very little single-family housing or green space, so most families passing through are visiting rather than settling down, though that could shift as new residential towers add more livable square footage.
Coming from a quieter area, be prepared for street noise and foot traffic on weekends — Wynwood is one of Miami's busiest nightlife and events districts, which is part of the appeal for some buyers and a dealbreaker for others.
